New Delhi (25/03/2012) : The two day assessment workshop of Human Welfare Foundation ended today at Delhi. A detailed assessment of the 5 years of activities under the Vision 2016 program and detailed plan of the upcoming 5 year was deliberated in the two days workshop. Personalities of highest eminence in different areas were invited for the program.

Prof. K.A Sidheeq Hassan, the General Secretary of Human Welfare Foundation said in his address said that 200 projects are going on in the ground. The volume of activities is huge. We have had good response from the government, NGOs and the society. The foundation have been blessed with dedicated and committed workers. Our priorities in the future include human resource development and leadership training.

In the key note address Dr. Sameer Fakhru (Director, Arab Open University, Bahrain)said that we are contributors and good citizens of this country. We have made a strong foundation in the last five years on which a lot can be done in the coming five years. We have made hard work to achieve the set targets. The vision programme was initiated by a small group of people but now the program is of the people.

Committees were made to discuss and present reports on various topics. The topics include education, technical education, health care, civil rights, micro-finance, disaster management and new avenues for community development.

Azad Cjhalikkuzhi (Consultant of HWF) presented the assessment paper, Janab Mohammad Jaafar (Vice Chairman, Human Welfare Foundation) presented the presidential remarks on the committee assignments of the workshop. Dr.SirajHussain (Vice Chancellor, JamiaHamdard), Dr Sameer Fakhru, AAA Faizi (professor, National administrative research, massouri) Sadat Hussaini (Member of Central advisory board, Jamaate Islami Hind), Shafi Madani (Secretary, Social Service Wing, JIH) and Abdul Jabbar Siddiqi (State Director, Human Welfare Foundation Andra Pradesh) spoke in the session of suggestions.

A 30 minutes video documentary on Vision 2016 five year activities produced by public relations department of Human Welfare Foundation was presented in the program.
